I have been thinking lately about faith, love, and friendships.
Sometimes all together and sometimes separate. But all in all I am blessed to have my Faith in God, to be loved by others for who I am, and friendships. I am blessed by my family and I love to share them with you but today I want to share my faith and love with friendships!
I have faith in God, love, relationships, and the list goes on. I may not always have a lot of faith in myself but God provides the strength within me. He also provides lots of encouragements and glimpses of his love through my friends and relationships. Even relationships with strangers.
I believe in God’s word. His love for me and you. It took a long time for me to truly know how God loves me. When I accepted Christ I still didn’t understand his love at first. Building my faith and seeing God’s undying love for me took time. It took several hard tests, trials, deepest heartaches, and even loss to build my strength and deepen my relationship with God.
He never left my side. He was always there with me. He is still here. Even in the midst of new storms.
I choose Christ. This is my faith. Choosing Christ is choosing to die to self and this world. Dying to temptations, earthly desires, walking away from the old and saying hello to the new. I choose the new me that God desires. I choose this daily. I choose God’s undying love over my selfish desires. I am thankful for his amazing love and mercies.
His love is unquestionable-
Its power unconquerable,
Its meaning undeniable,
Its mystery unexplainable,
Its sacrifice incomparable,
Its price unimaginable,
Its absence unthinkable!
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
I am BLESSED for the friendships I have formed in Christ’s love. The everyday encounters at work, church, and even at the store. Even when life is hard and we get consumed by our little world’s, I know my friends are there. We can encourage each other, love each other, and grow our faith together.
I hope you find hope in your relationship with God, a friend, and in yourself.
Hugs and much love to you and yours, Angie
