My last post I was headed to Women of Faith to celebrate the word of God, my faith, my love for Jesus, and of course walk with my sisters in Christ!
We had an amazing time together and I know we all left with something new in our souls. A time to reflect, refresh, grow, and even heal. This was my first time to go to WOF and I can’t thank my husband enough for playing mom and dad overnight. This was the first time I have left my five and four-year old little ones over night.
I love to read christian books and share their stories so eloquently written as a testament of their faith. Two of my favorite writers/speakers Angie Smith and Lisa Harper were speaking at the event and I beyond thrilled. I even got to meet them and Sheila Walsh too!
The music was overflowing with celebration, emotion, love, passion, and more. God was truly with us ladies and there was no room for Satan in the doors. Although he tried his hardest outside the walls he was not able to overcome the glory for God that filled the room.
We had lots of belly laughs followed with tears. Awkward and awesome moments of course with me. Who knew? But most of all we could be real, authentic, and focus on nothing but Jesus. Moments that reminded us how much God truly does love us. How he sacrificed his one and only son so we can spend eternity with him. Moments of Grace, Mercy, Healing, and abandoned fears and worries.
Praises of joy, tears of healing, moments of laughter, and songs of worship. All in 26 hours three of most caring and giving ladies I know. Let’s praise Jesus each day as if we only had 26 hours to do so. Oh the difference we could make in this world. Hundreds of ladies gave their lives to Christ this weekend and I am praying for each of them and the difference they will make.
I heart Women of Faith and my beloved Sisters in Christ for sharing this weekend with me. More than ever though I heart Jesus.
