As I promised here is the Making Memories Basket I won in our school’s auction benefiting a family with a precious little one who is sick. My son’s Pre-K teachers made this basket and I fell in love.
My children and I do the prayer pot and blessing jar but I loved the whole ensemble. I even made a smaller one this week for a friend’s soon to be daughter in law’s bridal shower.
So let’s get started! Pictures and details of what was in the “Making Memories” basket.

The ideas are endless with Memory Baskets. For your children, birthdays, weddings, baby showers. I once was a grief support contact for an organization that provided resources for parents that have lost a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, and early infant death. On of things I did for the parents was a memory basket with items that could hopefully with the parent’s heart with a little love that their baby was cherished and recognized.
I bid on this to help the family with a sick child. We are now praying for her in our prayer pot. Winning this auction showed me even more the importance of intentional “Memories”.
Here or gone. Young or Old.
Cherish the memories and honor your children. Guard their hearts with God’s love and word. Be intentional even when you feel there is nothing left to give. The memories are priceless.
