Me, Myself, and I Link Up

July 17, 2012 · Leave a Comment

My Beautiful, Crazy Life and several other blogs are linking up today to share Me, Myself, and I….When I first saw this I was excited since I love the get to know me questions. I thought this will be a breeze.I love to share about myself. However, when I opened the email with this week’s questions it took me a little longer and I had to seek some friends to help me out with question #4. Anyways, let’s get started!

What is your biggest fear?

Honestly, I have a few. If a spider or a snake was near me I would panic and have a high pitch girly scream ready.. just in case. Failure. I am still working on this one since it has held me back a few times. Just as standing in front of a room full of people and speaking. Oh my heart is beating faster just thinking about it. One of my biggest fears is drowning.  Water truly scares me. So does heights too. So when I have to drive over this long bridge over water near our home…let’s just say this girl has done a lot of praying.

2. If you could relive any day of your life, what would it be and why?

This was tough. There are lots of moments that instantly came to mind but if I was honest and shared my heart with you. I would choose the day my first daughter was born into this world still. She was born in the loving arms of Jesus. I would want to go back that day and be able to hold her again and be still in the moment.  Just one more time.

3. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be?

I would choose my current age, 32 years old. I love the age of my children four and five years old. I could stay in this moment forever of fun pretend play, ballerina swirls, tiny giggles, lots of love, and to stop them from growing up.

4. Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?

I seriously don’t think I could get mistaken for any celebrity so I asked some close friends and my hubby. One friend said Drew Barrymore..like totally….another friend said Sasha Alexander because of her hair, and the last friend and hubby said Jennifer Aniston. And then there’s me cheesing up the camera….such a celebrity I know.

5. What songs are included in the soundtrack of your life?
Better Together ~ Jack Johnson
The way I am ~ Ingrid Michaelson
Shine ~ Matt Redman
More like falling in love ~ Jason Gray
Everybody- ~ Ingrid Michaelson
Hope you had fun!!
Love,
P.S. I would love to hear yours too. I am hoping to have the linky tools in tomorrow to link up….Wish me luck..I make things more complicated than they are.

Facing Tough Encounters

Facing Tough Encounters

Since the beginning of our homeschooling journey I have been at peace with decisions that I made to provide an environment for my children that embraced their over all well-being. An environment of interest, creativity, strengths and weaknesses, love, joy, kindness, and yes even disagreements with brother but healthy disagreements. Healthy disagreements where we can […]

Homeschool

It has been raining for like the millionth day but the rain has forced us to stay home more than usual and allow us to really focus on some things around the house. So even though I miss the sunshine I am thankful for the rain too. We started a whole new adventure since the […]

Cold Winter Days and Warm Soup

Cold Winter Days and Warm Soup

Goodness this holiday season flew by but I held tight to every moment with my family. We have had some cold winter days this last week in Texas and that could only mean warm snuggles in cozy sherpa blankets and homemade chicken noodle soup. One of my favorite memories with my grandmother was cooking in […]
