Praying for Emily

January 4, 2013 · 3 Comments

A few days ago I posted about praying for Devon Colbert, a Garland Firefighter, who was in a serious car accident. The Garland Firefighters Association are praying, raising funds, and helping in any way a fellow brother firefighter can and will. I thank each of them and everyone else who has pulled together to help fight this battle with Devon and his family. You can read my original post here. I am praying for a miracle and healing for Devon. I pray that he will be able to walk again.

Superb product and the pharmacy service is superb every order !!! Canadian pharmacy? Canadian drugs are only shipped from our affiliated Canadian dispensary.

I am also praying for his wife, Emily. I am praying for her roles as a mom to her two-year old and eight month old. I am praying for her role as a wife. I am not in your position and I do not know how you feel but I can only imagine. I am here thinking of you and praying for you.

During the moments in your marriage that are challenging.

During your day trying to be a mom and praying for your husband.

During the days ahead encouraging Devon during his recovery.

Through out each moment I want you to know you loved. You are loved by a mighty God who is walking right beside you. He is comforting and strengthening you along the way.

“The father is a merciful God, who always gives us comfort. He comforts us when we are in trouble, so that we can share the same comfort with others in trouble.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

May God strengthen you and Devon during this time. I pray that God will surround you with even more encouragement and support. I just wanted you to know we are praying for you. As a mom, as a wife, as a sister in Christ. Women of faith, courage, heartache, strength and a mighty love for God. Women who want to encourage you and help you. We love you. God is with you and he loves you.

You are not alone.

I hope you share this as a sister in Christ to pray for Emily with me. What is more uplifting than Prayer!

Love,

Facing Tough Encounters

Facing Tough Encounters

Since the beginning of our homeschooling journey I have been at peace with decisions that I made to provide an environment for my children that embraced their over all well-being. An environment of interest, creativity, strengths and weaknesses, love, joy, kindness, and yes even disagreements with brother but healthy disagreements. Healthy disagreements where we can […]

Cold Winter Days and Warm Soup

Cold Winter Days and Warm Soup

Goodness this holiday season flew by but I held tight to every moment with my family. We have had some cold winter days this last week in Texas and that could only mean warm snuggles in cozy sherpa blankets and homemade chicken noodle soup. One of my favorite memories with my grandmother was cooking in […]
