Farm Fresh Pickles

July 19, 2019 · Leave a Comment

We decided to finally make some farm fresh pickles. Lots of yummy cucumbers and fresh ingredients like garlic and dill and you have a mason jar of goodness! I definitely played around with the ratio but this is what we have decided that we love best! This recipe makes 4-5 mason jars about 12 oz size. Make sure to sterilize you jars and have them ready. Let's make the brine and while the brine is boiling you can cut your cumbers and fresh ingredients. This part is great for the kids to help too! For the brine you will need the following. Just mix all together … [Read more...]

His Love.

The storms that are raging and crashing all around...will stop. That sickness that has no cure...will be gone. That horrible thing that happened to you that you just can't seem to forget..will be erased. The losses that you have endured...will be wiped away. The brokenness inside you from unfulfilled promises, shattered dreams, and hearts torn apart...will be made whole. All of the disappointments you have faced.. will be redeemed. All of it wiped away in his presence. Not to make light of anything you have faced or currently walking through, but Jesus is using … [Read more...]

Why I choose Beautycounter

May 14, 2019 · Leave a Comment

I began researching skincare, makeup, and family care the last two years when my kids skin was reacting to so many things that were in contact with their skin. I was at a lost and spent so much money on so many products hoping they wouldn't have a reaction. I thought it was just our sunscreen when it all began but it got to the point of not being able to recognize which product it was. We were experiencing reactions from soap, body wash, lotions, sunscreens, and more. I was at a lost. Many doctor appointments at the dermatologist and lots of prescription creams later … [Read more...]

Broken Bow Summer Trip

July 11, 2018 · Leave a Comment

Every summer our family and my husband's brother and his family spend a week vacationing together. The last two summers we visited Colorado and it was amazing. This summer we decided to stay closer to home since we couldn't go for as many days. We took our kids to Broken Bow, Oklahoma for this first time and it did not disappoint. We had so much fun staying in a cabin together and visiting Beavers Bend State Park. Our cabin was perfect for two families with kids that could share a room. Such a great family space and a close drive to the lake. We booked our cabin … [Read more...]

Chalkola + Birthday

We celebrated our sweet girl turning 12 years old! She loves all things horses, rainbows, and farm animals. I loved being able to spoil her with her favorites for the day. Riding horses, horse and rainbow cake, family time, pizza, and this adorable Chalkola Chalkboard. I am not an artist but the Chalkola brand chalk […]
