California Vacay

July 6, 2016 · Leave a Comment

Our little family was able to get away and spend a week in San Diego with some of our best friends and see some family too! We had such a fun week visiting Coronado Beach,  San Diego Zoo, Sunset Cliffs, Torrey Pines, Palm Springs, swimming at the pool like everyday, and eating lots of yummy food!!! My husband and I were able to have two date nights too. We went to Coronado Beach and had dinner at Costa Azul which was amazing. We also went to Sunset Cliffs and had dinner at my favorite restaurant Puesto in Seaport Village. It was such a fun time for my family and I … [Read more...]

Marriage and Weekend

April 24, 2016 · Leave a Comment

Coming from such a broken childhood and young adult life I remember when my husband and I got married I was so in love with him and looked past all the brokenness that could come with marriage. So when we were faced with the hardest time our marriage would ever face the very first year I was completely broken. After losing our child and facing reality after her funeral that we were with out her,... I didn't know how to be mom without a child, a woman in this world again, and a wife to my husband who was grieving too. It was tough. We faced an emotional journey of two … [Read more...]

Salty

Some things that God asks me to do are just down right scary. I don't believe in them. It's not what i intended. I don't know the outcome. The list goes on. But he doesn't ask me to do these things to question his will. He asks me trust and have faith in his plans to bring glory to his kingdom. To share his word through my story of faith, trust, loss, heartache, joy...pause and repeat. It takes ...a lot of courage to do what God has called you to do and I have to be honest I don't always follow his ways. Then I suffer. I miss out on the blessing he gives when I am … [Read more...]

Fifteen Random Things About Me

February 23, 2016 · Leave a Comment

 1. I love food. Like a lot of food. I eat more portions than my husband most of the time. My favorite foods are chips & salsa, avocados ((seriously anything with avocados)), street style tacos, and desserts. I am drooling typing this. 2. My biggest fear is speaking to a group, even people I know. 3. I stay up late and wake up very early. I do love sleep but the season I am in it's pretty crazy to get that. 4. I have a passion to encourage others and to be compassionate for others. 5. Music moves my soul. Pretty much all music. My top two are Worship and Texas … [Read more...]

One of my Favorite Pics of 2015 & Social Print Studio

February 10, 2016 · Leave a Comment

Capturing life moments through a camera or phone is absolutely life giving for me. I don't want to ever forget the moments created with my family and friends. The experiences that moved my soul and brought life to our hearts. The moments learning and growing together, having fun, celebrating, and many adventures. I love capturing moments and sharing to encourage others. I was recently approached to share a post on my favorite picture I took in 2015 and why it was my favorite. This was soooooo hard since I love them all and each one has a meaning. I decided to choose a … [Read more...]

His Love

This world is full of sorrow and suffering and death. But thankfully, this world isn’t it for us. Because of God’s greatest gift of salvation, we have the hope of the world to come, where there is no suffering and peace surpasses everything.  The storms that are raging and crashing all around us….will stop. That sickness […]

Grief

Just over 13 years ago my world changed drastically with the tragic death of our sweet baby. She was our first child and we lost her unexpectedly.  After 9 months of dreaming, planning, and counting down the days until she was born, my pregnancy ended in a full term stillbirth. I was in labor and […]
