This past weekend I participated in a day of selfless giving to make blankets for the homeless in Dallas. It was not only an amazing and humbling experience and God took a little more of “me” away. I love how God continues to humble me through circumstances of selfless giving. I was able to share this time with not only my wonderful sister-in-law, we should be sisters, friends, and also several other ladies, and even a few with their husbands and small children. This was organized by Ashley at My Shine Project and benefited the Dallas Life Ministry for the Dallas Shine Event.
Check out her blog and see the awesome pictures that were taken by Chris Wiegand and the location was A Little Artsy owned by Casey Wiegand and her art is amazing!
I thank God everyday for these experiences he has blessed me with. He continues to humble my spirit, enlarge my compassion, and strengthen my relationship with him most of all to glorify him. Thank you to all my family and friends who helped donate the fleece material. I sincerely appreciate each and every piece and just know that you were able to help 200 homeless people with these blankets that were made. We were able to shine God’s love to them.
In his Name,
Angie

I found your blog recently, completely by accident, but I am really enjoying what you share and am encouraged by your testimony.
Have a wonderful week.
