Happy New Year’s 2014

January 1, 2014 · 8 Comments

It’s a brand new day and a brand new year, I love reading everyone’s resolutions and goals to make 2014 a year to remember. Whatever you are looking for in this next year I pray that you are blessed beyond measure and it is all you imagined. Dare to dream and go for it!

I’m not great with resolutions but I love choosing a word to focus on for the year with intent. Last year I chose Inspire and before that I chose Hope. It would be easy for me to choose those two again since I am still living with those words in my life in big ways.

So this New Year I am choosing LIVE as my word. I want to live with intent with my family, my friends, Jesus, every person I encounter. I want to live nit just survive. I want to have less days of feeling like they will never end and survival mode and more days of laughter and joy and never wanting that day to end. I want to live with passion and live simply. I want to live a life that blesses others. I want live the life I have always imagined. I want to live and see the beauty around me everywhere. I want to live free. Free of envy, free of anger, free of bitterness, free of selfishness, and free of pride. I want to live a life of humility and courage. I want live a life of Love.

I want to live a life with abandon for Jesus, my kids, my husband. I want to give them my life with all I have showing them comfort, support, confidence, a love so big that bursts. I want to live a life that my family will remember the love I have for them. I want to create memories and traditions. I want to live a life of strength so when the hard times come I will be able to adjust my sails.  I want to live a crazy beautiful life with them and enjoy every single moment.

I know I will fall short but I will fall short living this life. I will dream big. Love like crazy. Live by Example. Live my life as the a daughter of the King. Praying each day for these areas in my life to be able to live a life of faith. Live in the moment. Live fearless. Christ died for us so we could live.

Life is Beautiful. Live it.

Chalkola + Birthday

We celebrated our sweet girl turning 12 years old! She loves all things horses, rainbows, and farm animals. I loved being able to spoil her with her favorites for the day. Riding horses, horse and rainbow cake, family time, pizza, and this adorable Chalkola Chalkboard. I am not an artist but the Chalkola brand chalk […]

His Love

This world is full of sorrow and suffering and death. But thankfully, this world isn’t it for us. Because of God’s greatest gift of salvation, we have the hope of the world to come, where there is no suffering and peace surpasses everything.  The storms that are raging and crashing all around us….will stop. That sickness […]
