I did it for you

December 20, 2012 · Leave a Comment

We adopted a sweet kitten earlier this year in March. We have loved watching her grow and the kids, especially my son, absolutely adore her. It is our first family pet that our kids are getting older. As she has grown she has also tested her limits. Three things.

Feeling much better after starting to take two every morning before breakfast. Discount cialis. You are guaranteed to find our products safe and best for your purposes.

Cat. Christmas Tree. Fish.

That should tell you the mess right there I find each day. The Christmas tree has settled down but she is very tempted by the fish. She does whatever she can to get to it. We have two beta fish in two little tanks. I have moved them and she has gotten to them twice. She completely knocked over the tanks and drained the water the first time. One was barely hanging on in the very corner of the tank with a little water. The other appeared to have lost his little life. I was devastated for my children. I started to clean up the mess and I noticed a movement from the corner of my eye. The fish was alive.

The other day I woke up and walked to kitchen to make coffee. Sure enough the barricade I has surrounded the fish tank did not work. The tank was knocked over and the same poor fish with out water. My heart sank and I just knew he didn’t make it. Again, another slight movement. I rushed and put water in his tank and he survived. I saved this fish twice.

I woke this morning reminded how much of a sinner I am. And really the cat is no different. A sinner with temptations. She needs my help and the fish too just like I need God. It’s funny how he reminds me of that. I am very thankful for God but this past week I have been doing things on my own and he is reminding me I am not.

I saved the fish. We all need to be saved. We all need a savior. When Jesus came to Earth to be with Mary and Joseph, he was not a rich man nor his family. He was born in a stable with animals. He performed miracles, healed the sick, and calmed the storms but at the end of his life you think he could use his powers to save himself. Rescued from the beatings and nailed to the cross but he stayed on the cross.

He did it for you and I. So our sins could be forgiven and Heaven would be what we longed for eternally. We needed a savior all because of love.

Let’s thank him today for that. Let’s love and be more like Jesus. Let your life be a love song to him. Let’s have joy over God’s saving acts for us. Glory to the highest this Christmas where it all began.

I did it for you.

We celebrated our sweet girl turning 12 years old! She loves all things horses, rainbows, and farm animals. I loved being able to spoil her with her favorites for the day. His Love

This world is full of sorrow and suffering and death. But thankfully, this world isn’t it for us. Because of God’s greatest gift of salvation, we have the hope of the world to come, where there is no suffering and peace surpasses everything.  The storms that are raging and crashing all around us….will stop. That sickness […]
