Keepin' It Real

July 6, 2012 · Leave a Comment

I love reading Good Housekeeping interviews. Not necessarily for the answers these celebrities share but really the questions they come up with. So this fabulous Friday I am going to share these 11 questions and my answers {sorry to disappoint ya I am not a celebrity with possibly perfect answers} but I am a faith filled, momma, and down to earth city girl living in Texas Keep It Real for you!

wellbutrin mexico

1. What songs are on your Ipod workout mix? Well if I am honest, and I am, I don’t have a workout mix. Simply because working out is not my expertise. Yes I am trying and I was truly motivated a couple of weeks ago but then we had vacation and a few unexpected occurence so this will go on my to do list soon. But if you look at my Ipod my main singer who I adore is Jack Johnson. Of course I have some David Crowder Band, Cory Morrow, LMFAO, and of course Fergie.

2. What are your guilty pleasures? The Bachelorette, Keeping up with the Kardashians, anything chocolate and coconut, oh and scarfs,

3. What are your five things you always have in your refrigerator? Almond Joy coffee creamer, Odwalla or Naked Green Goodness, Almond milk. raspberries, and salad.

4. Five things you always have in your purse? Hand sanitizer, J.R. Watkins Tinted Pink chapstick, snacks (clif kids fruit ropes and granola bars usually), cell phone, and lots of kids stuff.

5. What’s the one movie that, whenever it’s on, you just have to watch? The Sweetest Thing I know….but it’s hilarious and who doesn’t love Cameron Diaz!

6. Your most embarrassing moment? Well, let me grab my journal, I have a lot. It seems to be a daily function of my life. Saying, doing, and being in awkward and embarrassing moments. So one of the most recent I can remember is wearing a shirt backwards or my child lifting my dress in public. Oh and when I was younger I loved to dance and I still do so I would totally be the girl dancing and singing real loud with the music (because no one could hear me) and then somebody turning it off and I keep going all. by. myself…..

7. The last time you laughed so hard you cried? Probably watching the Bridesmaids movie.

8. Your most mom-brained moment? Oh my goodness I have these every day! Putting milk in the cupboard, forgetting how to do simple math, wearing two different color flip flops, and the list goes on.

9. Who was your first celebrity crush? Josh Hartnet

10. The top people you follow on Twitter? I haven’t joined twitter yet. Too much to try to learn and keep up with for me. So I will list a few top blogs I follow. Heather Boershma, Casey Wiegand, and My Shine Project.

11. Your biggest fear? Losing another child but I rest my soul in God and his perfect plans. On a smaller scale. Snakes and deep water!

I hope you enjoyed a little Keepin’ It Real with me and maybe we can do this more often. I would love to hear some of yours too!! Don’t be shy!

Hope you have a faith-filled fabulous day! We are off to see family!

Great srength comes from FAITH in GOD!

Love,

Chalkola + Birthday

We celebrated our sweet girl turning 12 years old! She loves all things horses, rainbows, and farm animals. I loved being able to spoil her with her favorites for the day. Riding horses, horse and rainbow cake, family time, pizza, and this adorable Chalkola Chalkboard. I am not an artist but the Chalkola brand chalk […]

His Love

This world is full of sorrow and suffering and death. But thankfully, this world isn’t it for us. Because of God’s greatest gift of salvation, we have the hope of the world to come, where there is no suffering and peace surpasses everything.  The storms that are raging and crashing all around us….will stop. That sickness […]
