Memories….
I love memories. Thinking back on heart swelling and a love so big memories. My childhood usually didn’t have the best memories etched in my mind or my heart. At one point in my life I couldn’t remember one good memory. Then I fell in love with Jesus. It was through the bible with so many memories of truth, love, heartache, grace, and so much more. I was am transformed. Soon one little happy memory worked its way back through the thickness of bitterness, anger, and emotional damage and my heart gleamed. God taught me so much through that little memory.
I told myself from that day forward, I will always make sure my children had happy memories etched in their little hearts. Happy memories of stories of Jesus, family dinners, school projects, anything and everything, was going to be a memory with a heart of Christ molded in.
Intentional Moments
Friends, have I got a treat for you. I have been working on a new post with intentional ways to make memories with your children through Christ. But I got the easy end of the deal tonight. My children had their art show tonight at preschool to raise funds for a precious little baby who is sick. It was a blessed evening!
We are blessed to have amazing teachers that not only love the Lord but love our children too. Both my son and my daughter love their teachers and our church. For that is a wonderful memory in itself.
My son’s Pre-K teachers auctioned their “Making Memories” set. It’s perfect for what I was wanting to do! I had to have this. Not just for the work that was put into it but my son is very sentimental and was very proud of the work. When he saw that I won the auction, he said, “you got my class Mom!” “Yes I did” I received the reply, “Awesome” and that was a memory I won’t forget. He was proud and I was awesome (even if I got a little competitive the last minute of the auction and wanted to win)
My daughter’s class made the cutest bench and I loved it too. It would have been perfect in the back yard.
Tomorrow I will post the details of the “Making Memories” Basket.
Check back tomorrow for details of what is in the basket!

Awesome Angie! Glad you were able to get it. It looked like something you’d use! 🙂
