Monday Madness

Oh my!! After a day of taxes, cleaning, organizing, and two crazy kiddos that someone left at my house. Oh come on! As my son says.  It has been a Monday of Madness. But it’s all good. Our days would be boring if it didn’t consist of craziness. So I am here to share some my craziness with you.

First who wants to do taxes?? I know…it has to be done but man I tell you it will make you want to drink or run screaming down the street while pulling your hair out…Especially doing it with a five-year old and three-year old in the house. I have to give credit to my hubby though. He does our taxes. I however had a business the last two years that I closed in December. These are the taxes I worked on. So glad I am not working in accounting anymore and I get to chase my two down and thirteen three-year olds on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This fits me perfectly.

Madness with these two little ones who have been doing inside activities all day. Need I explain more? I don’t know about you but this family needs some outings. The store, the park, the mailbox. Anything! The mailbox was all we got today.

So that left me with lots of toys to clean up, two crazy kids running around like little chickens, and household chores.

I am exhausted.

I did however get my pantry organized and my desk clean. That is a praise in itself! I have the best intentions but I swear I have ADHD and this girl can lose her mind running in circles trying to find her to do list she made for the day. Lots of talks and prayers with God is what keeps me sane and functional. Oh and crazy concerts in our living room.

Tonight I made spaghetti and meatballs and caesar salad. We decided to have a glass of wine with dinner.  After today this momma was headed for more than a little glass of wine. I am just kidding…for the most part.

But leave it to this unpredictable predictable party in a person to break the wine stopper in the wine bottle. No comments. That’s just how I roll….one…crazy….predictable mess…who occasionally wears her clothes backwards. walks in to walls. makes up her own words. Collidal….yeah that it is my word for two things that collided. I seriously said it to a group of friends.

I can be a little much for the calm, cool, and collected. My husband’s side of the family lhad their reunion recently and I love talking to everyone. I am sometimes loud , exaggerated laughs, and lots of arm movements. Just to name a few. I am jumping up and down that one of his aunts invited us to their house for vacation this summer. I told my husband wow they liked your crazy wife. His response. Your like a circus….A fun and eventful circus. At first I wasn’t sure if I should be mad or take this as a compliment. But my mind started thinking about how I don’t like clowns.

Compliment I decided. He at least takes me as I am. plus our daughter is a mini me. I just realized why he doesn’t take us the circus. As my daughter and I would say.

{Sorry honey I couldn’t resist sharing}

I love my children even through all the madness. They make me laugh until my stomach hurts. Cry with tears of love and happiness. I am a blessed momma! I hope you are enjoying your Monday Madness (every day is a like a Monday) through the emails, text messages, deadlines, and even crazy kiddos!

Hug them each and every day!

Be thankful for piles of laundryand sink full of dishes…you have loved ones in your home to nurture.

Be thankful for the not so quiet moments and thank God for the world he has given you.

Even if it’s a CIRCUS!

Love this one! We had a crazy Monday too! Just glad to know its normal for a mom to need wine at the end of her day and being able to laugh about it rather than cry! Love ya girl! Who said sanity was fun anyway!

Angie, you might be a circus, but I’ll take you just the way you are! I love your honesty & ability to laugh at yourself – 2 important qualities! And collidal will always be my favorite! ❤

Chalkola + Birthday

We celebrated our sweet girl turning 12 years old! She loves all things horses, rainbows, and farm animals. I loved being able to spoil her with her favorites for the day. Riding horses, horse and rainbow cake, family time, pizza, and this adorable Chalkola Chalkboard. I am not an artist but the Chalkola brand chalk […]

His Love

This world is full of sorrow and suffering and death. But thankfully, this world isn’t it for us. Because of God’s greatest gift of salvation, we have the hope of the world to come, where there is no suffering and peace surpasses everything.  The storms that are raging and crashing all around us….will stop. That sickness […]
