This past week we took our kiddos to Sea World in San Antonio. We were excited to be able to work out a few days for a family vacation. After the millionth “are we there yet?” and a little car sickness, it was all worth it. To see the faces on my children watching the whales, the dolphins, seal lions, and more. Priceless. They have such a love for animals and mammals. They love sea life and aquariums I think as much as I do.
It was super hot but that didn’t stop us. Typically our family does fall outings for our vacations since we don’t do very well in the heat. Now that our kids are in school that isn’t always the option. We prepared ourselves for the 100 plus degree temps and the crowds and that made it bearable. Our kids did awesome even with little tired legs.
Our hotel had an awesome view of Fiesta Texas and a yummy restaurant. We were able to go to the Riverwalk and the Alamo one day as well. It had actually rained and cooled off several degrees which was super nice. We were able to see the fireworks from our room each night that are displayed at Fiesta Texas. The kids loved that.
I grew up in California going to the San Diego Sea World and I loved it. I have always wanted to take my kids to Sea World and I am so thankful my husband and I were able to. The Killer Whales {which my son calls them by their actual names, Orca Whales} are pretty amazing. All of them are pretty amazing. I love the bond that is created with their trainers. Such trust displayed. God created some beautiful creatures.
On our last night we had another yummy dinner at our hotel and ended with a Fried Cheesecake! Yes Fried Cheesecake! It was delicious but oh my I ate too much. My sweet baby girl also lost her first tooth! Adventures all weekend! So here’s a recap of our family trip! I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do!

I am so glad you guys got to go!! It looks like fun!!
Thank you Lisa~ hope you had a great time out of town too!
