Wow! It’s hard to believe that November has come and gone and we are starting December today. This year seems to be going by quicker than ever and as a mama watching my babies grow, I just can’t slow it down like I want it too.
I wanted to share about our Thanksgiving. I hope that you had a grateful and thankful Thanksgiving with your families far and near. We did something different this year. We went out of town just the four of us in our little camper at the beach. We did miss being with our families on Thanksgiving day but it was such a fun and blessed time for our family.
We drove to Galveston Beach for the week and camped at Galveston State Park. It was a beautiful this time of year on the coast of Texas. The weather was absolutely perfect and the beach is soothing to my soul. My Happy Place! It was pretty secluded and to wake up in the mornings and watch the sunrise with my family set me back to more simple times that I know we all crave and need.
My kids loved looking for seashells with me and I was thrilled since it is my favorite thing to do with the sounds of the oceans waves crashing in. We found some of the prettiest shells. We spent hours washing washing them and laying them out on our table to look at all the different shapes, colors, and patterns. We even found a few shells with hermit crabs inside them on the beach.
Here are some of the pictures of our trip. I loved capturing these moments of my children and our little family. My heart is full.
