Welcome Friends

September 25, 2012 · Leave a Comment

I want to say Welcome to all my new followers this week. Some from the Living In Yellow giveaway where I am giving away a Thirty One gift certificate, searching on-line and stumbled upon my little blog, or from friends. I am humbled and truly excited you took the time to visit. I hope you stay a while and walk this journey of life and faith with me.

God has placed so much stuff on my heart these past months and a lot was confirmed this past weekend when I went to Women of Faith. One of my biggest prayers for myself is to create in me a pure heart. Sometimes that creation includes fun and ecstatic times but it also includes deep hurts that swell inside my heart only GOD can comfort.

Each day I lift my children, my friends, family, and, my husband in prayer. I also realized I need to lift myself in prayer. It’s not always easy to ask for prayer or help for myself. It’s not always easy to share my dreams with others. As the days go by I capture a little more of what Jesus truly intends for me and sometimes that requires revealing some of those deepest hurts, secrets, insecurities, and fears to a friend.

So today I want to welcome all of my new followers friends but I also want to THANK my girl friends {sisters in Christ} for encouraging me to dream big. Showing me what they think I could do in this world. Holding me accountable in the word of God and living this life trying new things.

I pray that each of you have at least one girlfriend you can share your soul with, pray with, eat lots of good food with, attend retreats with, and dream big together. Although I can’t list each of your names on here I am so grateful for all of you. YOU have blessed me with your presence and filled those revealed corners of my heart with pure joy.

Love,

H! I'm Angie and I am so happy you have stopped by. I share little bits of our life, love, faith, homeschool, grief & loss, style, farm, how Jesus mended my broken heart, my love for food, coffee, and all things animals! I hope you leave here refreshed and encouraged.

Chalkola + Birthday

We celebrated our sweet girl turning 12 years old! She loves all things horses, rainbows, and farm animals. I loved being able to spoil her with her favorites for the day. Riding horses, horse and rainbow cake, family time, pizza, and this adorable Chalkola Chalkboard. I am not an artist but the Chalkola brand chalk […]

His Love

This world is full of sorrow and suffering and death. But thankfully, this world isn’t it for us. Because of God’s greatest gift of salvation, we have the hope of the world to come, where there is no suffering and peace surpasses everything.  The storms that are raging and crashing all around us….will stop. That sickness […]
